Day 68 of the war


An Israeli "Saar 6" warship sailed for the first time in the Red Sea, in response to the threats and attacks by the Houthis from Yemen.

TAt the end of the event last night, the commander of Division 36 held a situation assessment with the commanders of Golani's brigade combat team and said: "Golani is as Golani; commanders at the front - charging forward and leaving no one behind."

First Lieutenant Nathaniel Menachem Eitan was wounded in battle in the Gaza Strip and died of his wounds at the beginning of the week. His organs were donated and saved the lives of three people.

Since the beginning of the war, the residents of Yokne'am have been running a "Pina Hama" (coffee corner for soldiers) on the highway near the town. Soldiers on the go are invited to stop for home-made treats served with love.

Dozens of US universities held Hanukkah candle-lighting events last night under the headline "Lighting Their Way Home". This is to express solidarity with the people of Israel who are at war and with the families of the hostages.
